Older workers make up about 25 of total workforce but the prospects of their job security are probably less than 5%. Therefore in order to earn a reasonable amount, they have to plan about finding a part-time job.

Part-time jobs may be able to help them to compensate for their monthly less wages. Finding a part time job could be a difficult job when someone crosses 50. The number of working options remains half for older worker. Therefore in order to find a proper part time job within such limited employment opportunities, you should follow the following tips.
Be Ready to Accept Whatever is Offered
First of all one has to prepare himself to face the bitter reality that now he or she will not be given same standard or position which he/she have been enjoying before. There are some factors behind less salary for older people including old age and less financial responsibilities etc.
But if a person has creative skill or computer literacy the chances for earning better income can be increased. Otherwise they have to accept junior positions with low grade and less salary in the same field in which they have some experience of life before.
Older workers who are now satisfied with their part time job often recommend to others to accept less than expected jobs and do more than employer’s expectations to let him recognize your worth. This is an easy way to reach a respectable position instead of wasting time in searching and worrying about desirable part time job.

9- If you have a handsome amount of money, invest it in a business. A good and profitable business can eliminate the need of a job at all.
